Print Brochures Gold Coast
If you are about to print brochures, you will need some help, and we can provide this for you at Gold Coast Printers. When we refer to brochures, we are generally referring to “flat” work. We refere to booklets as booklets or magasines.
Getting Started
There are some things that you are going to need at the beginning of your project, some of these are obvious, some a little hidden.
Firstly, decide on the size of your brochures, and in Australia, we work on the metric system, which is made up primarily of A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6 and DL. The most common sizes to print your brochures, would be either A4, or DL. There are many reasons why you would select other sizes and if you are uncertain as to what size you should be printing, you should just give us a call on 0421 840 465 and we will be happy to help you decide what size your brochure should be.
Anything larger than A4 would probably have to be folded in half, as it would end up being a poster!
Colour or black and white
If you are going to take the effort to design your brochures, employ a printer, pay for the work, you really should print your brochure in colour. Also, you should use both sides. On short run print jobs, you will save very little money by printing on only one side, so use the back as well, even if you are going to put a nice referral or a great picture, the results from a double sided brochure, are always much better than a single sided piece.
Artwork – the pain in the …. you know what!
To set up artwork correctly is always the bugbear when you are going to print brochures, so be sure to give us a call before you embark on your project, as it is much easier to fix things at the outset, rather than once you have created your masterpiece.
